At this age and stage in life, friends and I simply don’t need more “stuff” for Christmas, so I can see charitable donations becoming more de rigueur as gifts. Being a dog lover, though, notice of your group crossed my path at exactly the right moment, and a donation as a gift to another dog lover was the perfect idea!
